Prime Premiere

I recently attended a Prime Premiere and had a blast! If you are an Amazon Prime member this is a free benefit which you might as well take advantage of.

What Is Prime Premiere?

Prior to releasing Prime Originals to their streaming service, Amazon is teaming up with local theaters for a physical premier a day or two in advance. While you have to register for tickets, they are free and include admittance as well as a complementary soda/water and small popcorn. You can reserve two tickets per account.

How Do I Get Tickets?

Ticket reservations open the week before the premiere. Go to primepremiere.amazon to see what the featured movie will be.

When and Where are Prime Premieres?
Typically they are on the last Wednesday of the month at 7 pm in designated theaters. You can search by your zip code to see which theaters are hosting Prime Premieres.

Other Info

I went to see Candy Cane Lane, which was a hysterical Christmas movie, starring Eddie Murphy. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. While waiting for the movie to start, there were QR Codes for digital photo booths. We also got a magnetic photo frame/word while exiting the theater.
